I recently started working on an existing AEM Assets implementation. When taking over someone else’s implementation there can be a lot of unknowns and details waiting to surprise you. To try and elicit as much information as possible, I typically come up with a list of topics we should cover together. In the past I would just take the previous agendas and then pick and choose the topics relevant to the client’s request.
I decided to finally sit down and collect every topic into a master list. Having a reference readily available provides a good starting point, but you will always have some different variation or integration which can’t be planned for.
Based on my experience this is an incomplete list of topics to cover when taking over an existing AEM Assets implementation. These are just conversation starters and plan for the final topics to look very different from this starting point.
